Parental Rights

Every parent, whether single or divorced, should be aware of parental rights in order to make better decisions concerning the upbringing of their children.

The focus of the seminar is the minority ethnic groups in Northern Ireland who in view of cultural variation are mostly troubled by the usual barriers between them and their children in cases of broken marriages/relationships. However, the seminar was also opened to the general public because, at the time of writing this article, the Northern Ireland legal framework for family relationships did not recognize ethnic or racial backgrounds.

One of the aims of this workshop is to help people achieve balance in the care of children, especially in cases of inevitable family or relationship breakdown, which could strengthen parent-children bonds and avert depression and other associated challenges.

The success of the workshop can be attributed to our sponsors and partners who played important roles in helping provide such a great informative session.
