NICONI held a highly successful general meeting today, bringing together a full house of both long-standing and new members in an atmosphere of unity, fellowship, and shared purpose. The impressive turnout reflected the continued growth and strength of the organization, with members actively participating in discussions focused on the progress and future of NICONI.
A warm welcome was extended to the organization’s newest members, Mr. Otoyo Essang and Mrs. Edo Essang, who officially joined the NICONI family. They expressed their delight at becoming members and looked forward to contributing to the organization’s mission and activities.
One of the memorable highlights of the meeting was the celebration of the birthday of NICONI’s dedicated Secretary, Mrs. Alexis Ekwueme. Members gathered to celebrate the occasion with heartfelt goodwill messages, followed by the ceremonial cutting of her birthday cake. The celebration added a joyful touch to an already successful event, and members wished her continued good health, happiness, and many more years of dedicated service.
The meeting also featured the appointment of new officers who will serve in key leadership roles within the organization:
- Hon. Karibo Longjohn – Vice Chairman/Public Relations Officer (PRO)
- Mrs. Sumayya Bashir Usman – Treasurer
- Mrs. Hopeba Karibo Longjohn – Provost
