Yesterday, the Nigerian Community in Northern Ireland (NICONI) had the privilege of welcoming both new and returning Nigerian students to campus. It was a day filled with warmth, guidance, and meaningful connections.
Highlights of the Day:
-
The NICONI Executive and Members officially welcomed students into the family.
-
Shared valuable guidance to help them settle into student life in Northern Ireland.
-
Raised awareness on Violence Against Women and Girls and also men because safety, respect, and dignity matter for everyone.
-
Invited students to join NICONI community meetings, where their voices and talents will be celebrated.
-
And of course… delicious food and drinks for all no one left hungry.
This impactful outreach was proudly sponsored by Belfast City Council, The Executive, and the Violence Against Women and Girls initiative.
We are excited for the journey ahead with our students and grateful to everyone who made this day possible.
